Almost...

Well, Miss Elena is almost 7 months old (this coming Monday), almost crawling, almost has her first tooth, almost pulling herself up on things. Exciting times ahead, but this is a nice stage. She will sit for a little while, at least, and play with something. A couple weeks or so ago Lenny took her to my parents to watch the Yankee game and when I went over a little while later I saw him on the couch and Dad in the armchair, but didn't see the Little Miss until a few seconds later when her little head popped up, sitting on the couch next to Papi with her teddy bear. So cute!
In the last few weeks she also started sitting up in her little bath and splashing in the water. She went through a little fussy period with nursing, but she has settled back into it and with no teeth yet, it is still the easiest, most comfortable way of feeding her. And definitely least messy! She loves being able to sit up in her stroller, and often times even falls asleep in it! The other day she fell asleep almost immediately on our morning walk and I had actually remembered to bring a book, so we stopped in a nearby, quiet little park and I sat on a bench and read while she slept in her stroller. It was lovely!

So here's a brand new quick video of Miss Elena wanting to crawl, but still figuring it out. I'm sure I'll miss capturing it the very first time she actually does it, so I thought this would be fun. And she just looks too darn cute today too!
