Then my Mom has been going through boxes and stuff because she's having a garage sale this weekend and she found this baby picture of me. Elena smiles when she sees it. I think she might think it's her, but she does like pictures of babies in general.
Last week we went to the pediatrician for her well baby visit. She weighed 17 lbs. 2 oz. And of course I don't remember the other numbers, but one kinda funny thing - She has a large head, so the doctor is looking at me and remarks on the size of my head and then asks if he can measure it! So he comes over with his measuring tape and then consults a chart in a book and confirms that I have a very large head, so she obviously got that from me! I haven't taken many pictures of Miss Elena these last few weeks. I guess we haven't had many exciting adventures but this next month will be chock full of stuff so I'll try to post more.
Lil Lenny and Lil Danielle are so cute. I can definitely see how Elena might think the pic of you is her. Almost identical. Oh and Bradyn is pretty much off the charts too with the size of his head. They are just going to be super smart children. :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom just gave me a copy of a picture that when I first saw it around age 9, I thought was of me. I just couldn't remember the stupid hair (banana curls) or the super flouncy dress. It was, of course, a picture of Mom. Like Elena, it made (makes) me smile.

Can't believe the Pediatrician measured your head. That's fabulous! Love the retro baby pics ... Elena looks so much like you, and Lenny was so cute too :)
