The Stats

At birth - 19 inches, 5 lbs., 14.5 oz
Two days later - 5 lbs. 10 oz. (totally normal for babies to lose a little weight in the beginning)
Two days later at the pediatrician's office - 5 lbs., 11 oz. (the doctor was happy she was on her way up)
A week later, the visiting nurse came to the house - 6 lbs., 3 oz. (already past birth weight, woo hoo!)
The next weight check at about 3 weeks at the pediatrician's office - 7 lbs., 2 oz.
4 week appointment - 21 inches, 7 lbs. 9.5 oz.

It is just amazing watching her grow before our very eyes. She's still "newborn" size, but seems like she's changed so much already. Mom said the other day she could definitely tell that her cheeks were bigger, both sets.

  2. Hey, those of us who don't get to see her on a regular basis need photo updates too!!! She's little enough that you can include photos of "both sets of cheeks" if you want! (hee hee) Got the birth announcement in the mail today. Thanks for remembering us!
