Lenny with his mojito and me with my freshly muddled mint limeade (basically a mojito without the rum, which was actually very good). The food was so-s0, but the tres leches cake and mini chocolate empanadas were delicious.
Lenny and his mom in Times Square (probably didn't really need explaining)
There are these red stairs at one end of Times Square now. I don't know why. Odd and yet strangely compelling. I was trying to show off the belly in this picture, but I'll have to do a better belly shot.
The batteries were almost dead by the time I asked Lenny to take this pic, but I think it looks kind of cool. It's also a pretty old camera. I'd like to get a new one. Any recommendations? We have an old Canon Power Shot, which I like, so maybe I should just get the new one? I'm also toying with the idea of getting a slightly "fancier" one since I'll be taking a zillion pics of at least the first kid. ;)

I haven't been to Times square since they blocked traffic from it...the red stairs look cool. Investing a in a new camera sounds like a good idea to me....new babies need to have their picture taken a lot!
ReplyDeleteToo funny. If I hadn't of seen the other pictures and known it was you, I would have thought it was your mom in the last picture (the blurry one)! As for a camera, we've had two Sony Cyber-shots and really like them...
ReplyDeleteI love my Nikon cameras...I have three of them. A good old fashioned 35mm SLR, a new Digital SLR and my little CoolPix. I carry my CoolPix in my purse and am able to take pictures any ol' time I want. And I can shoot short videos. My camera recommendation would be a Nikon CoolPix.
ReplyDeletelooks like you had a great time. if you really want to invest, i suggest getting a digital SLR. i don't have one, but i borrow my dad's whenever i can. i believe it's a nikon. i love my camera too, but i forget the model and brand.

We have an old Sony Cybershot we got 7 yrs ago, and last year we got a new smaller Kodak something-er-other that's touch screen. My father-in-law has a heavy duty Nikon with special lenses and flashes, and the pics are SO much clearer. Looks like you had a great time in the City, despite the cold. lol I haven't been since we left. We have been missing it lately...
