Week 30 has been spent working. I had Thanksgiving Day off, but other than that, I have worked every day since the Assembly, switching between the glass shop and the law office. Poor Lenny was sick all weekend, so at least I figured I might as well be at work than at home and get sick. I've been going to bed between 8:30 and 9:00 every night so I don't get exhausted. I'm only supposed to work a few hours tomorrow at the glass shop and then Friday at the law office.
Other than work, here's what else I have on tap for Week 31: Tonight is our first Childbirth Preparation Class at the birthing center at the hospital. Should be fun. I had been trying for two weeks to get in touch with them and finally we connected yesterday and she told me the class starts tonight. It's two hours every Wed. evening for five weeks, the fifth class being post-partum and infant care. They are also throwing in a Tuesday evening breastfeeding class which I think might be next week. I know I read that "partners" are welcome to that class too, but I'm not sure how Lenny feels about that. ;)
Saturday morning we head down to Jersey for my NJ shower, Sunday we are taking Lenny's mom into the city for dinner and a Broadway show, Monday - up to upstate New York for my last prenatal HK session! Then home to RI for my last 8 weeks.

Do your best to get plenty of rest. Hah! I know, but try anyway. Have fun this weekend and take lots of pictures.

Going to bed around 8 or 9 sounds really good right about now. I admire your stamina especially at 30 wks! The classes are helpful. We didn't go to an infant care or breastfeeding class, and I really wish that we did once he was here. lol
ReplyDeletewhew! sounds like a busy week and weekend. can't wait to hear about all the goodies you get at your shower. wish we could be there. i'll be thinking of you though. i hope you enjoy the classes. we took a labor and delivery and a postpartum class, both of which we found to be extremely helpful.
